Large hand-thrown pot by Icelandic artist Haukur Dór Sturluson. Signed and dated on the base. Sturluson had ceramic workshops in Reykjavik and surrounding areas – Kopavogur and Alftanes – from 1967 to 1982 and later in Denmark where he lived for some years. Sturluson labeled his production “Dór”. This pot is a very early piece. Unique. 1964.
