Ole Wanscher Colonial Chair in Mahogany and Cognac Leather by Poul Jeppesen, Denmark

Ole Wanscher Colonial Armchair in a very rare combination of mahogany and original leather. Designed in 1949 and produced by Poul Jeppesen. This chair is in excellent vintage condition and has clearly seen little use over the years. The leather is in very good condition and, although faded with time, has developed wonderful patina. (The leather could be treated with hide feed which would darken it down, closer to its original colour.) The wicker base is also in excellent condition and has one minor repair. Denmark, 1950s.
