Trava Floor Light by Carl Thore for Granhaga Metallindustri, Sweden 1960s

1960s Swedish Trava floor lamp by Sigurd Lindkvist, (who also worked under the pseudonym Carl Thore), design director for Granhaga Metallindustri. The Strava range featured a concealed bulb and a decidedly Space Age aesthetic. Aluminium shade with red lacquer interior, chrome stand and solid slate base. Very good condition with minor signs of age.
