Large Willy Guhl Elephant’s Ear Planter by Élo

Elephant’s Ear planter in the style of Willy Guhl by Élo, France. Many Guhl fans are unaware of Élo, a French company that copied many of Guhl’s designs including the Elephant’s Ear. This is not to say that the results were not good. They were stunning. What distinguishes them from the Eternit versions is that the Élo version has downward pointing corners – arguably more elegant than Eternit’s own version. Élo? Eternit? Both? France, c1970.
